CAROL SUSAN's Story
COOPER , CAROL SUSAN McLEAN 12/5/53 – 4/1/17 Carol S. McLean Cooper was born December 5, 1953 in Lusk, Wyoming to Charles and Dorothy McLean. The McLean’s lived in Guernsey Wyoming from 1952 – 1965. Carol attended grade school and Jr. High in Guernsey. Carol and her family moved to Denver, Colorado in 1965 where she attended high school for 3 years and transferred to Hanna Wyoming for her senior year. She graduated from High School in 1970. She married William L. Cooper in 1979 in Hartville Wyoming. Upon retirement, the Coopers moved to Mesa. The Lord called Carol home on April 1, 2017 following extensive heart surgery. A Celebration and Thanksgiving for the Life of Carol Susan McLean Cooper will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 322 N. Horne Street, Mesa at 11:00 am. Carol was a blessing in our lives, and although we miss her beyond words, she left us with her love, laughter, sisterhood, motherhood and many wonderful memories to share. Until we join her, her blessings will endure. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Michelle Lynn Sinnot. She is survived by her husband, William L. Cooper, her son, Chase T. Cooper (Brandy), her granddaughter, Gemma Paige Cooper all of Mesa AZ and her siblings, Mary L. McLean(Burgess)-Mesa AZ, John M. McLean-Sheridan WY and Charles T. (Tom) McLean-Denver CO, and her three stepchildren, William Cooper, Melissa Hart and Leslie Thompson living in Colorado. She loved and worked to protect children throughout her life.
