STEINHOFF , Jack Mr. Jack Steinhoff of Phoenix, AZ—entrepreneur, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend—died Monday, July 11, 2016, after a short illness. He was 91 years old. Jack was born on February 18, 1925, to Clinton and Alma Steinhoff in Flint, MI. Jack served in the Navy during WWII. He lived in Michigan until 1974, when he moved to Ahwatukee (Phoenix), Arizona, where he lived the rest of his life. He was a man of many stories with a great sense of humor. Jack is survived by his wife, Lonnie, his brother and wife; Eric and Beverley Steinhoff; his children and their spouses: Perry and Merri Alexander, Nonie Bernard, Doyle Brown and Jane Austin, Randall and Pairaw Steinhoff, Linda and Marty Waldeck, and; his grandchildren and their spouses: Natalie Austin, Stephanie Austin, Rex and Natalie Brown, Kerrie and Tony DeCastro, Mandy and Eric Groom, Heather and Jason Kirsten, Monica McManus, Diana and Richard Stanford, Thom and Angelitta Steinhoff, Leslie Steinhoff, Kelly Waldeck, and; his great-grandchildren: Kyle Bernard, Paisin and Vaughn Kirsten, Mason and Evan McManus, Natas and Louie Regalado, Andy and Emma Shuck, Jade Stanford, Phoebe, Alana and Logan Steinhoff, Casey, Summit and Vanessa Waldeck, and many nephews and nieces. At Jack’s request, his body has been donated to science. A celebration of his life will be held in October. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Banner Hospice of the East Valley (275 E Germann Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85297) would be appreciated.
