Norman Petterborg, age 85, passed away on February 20th, 2018 in Tempe, Arizona. He was born July 21, 1932 in Preston, Idaho to Theo Lynn Petterborg and Frances Goldie Hansen. Norman lived in Idaho until his family moved to Arizona in 1951 and graduated from Phoenix Union High School. He enlisted in the Navy, served during the Korean War, received an honorable discharge and then started working for Mountain Bell Telephone Company until his retirement. He married two wonderful women, Ruth Skinner Warner and after her death he found love with Miggs Merrill Lower. He is survived by one of his three children, Brenda (Steve) Mills of Arkansas and two siblings, Rex (Pam) Petterborg of Arizona and Jackie Luckey of California. He also has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Norman was active with the Buckhorn Elks Lodge in Mesa Arizona and The American Legion. Services were held on February 27th at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ.
