Ann Beth Sansone 85, of Goleta, CA passed away Dec. 4, 2024 of Alzheimer related causes. A passionate supporter of public school education, and a union representative of her school in Tempe, AZ., Ann put children, parents and staff first in her professional life. Teaching her children the importance of participating in the democratic process as informed voters as well as mentoring new staff members who also chose teaching were major parts of her career. When moving to Ventura, CA she volunteered in dramatizing and donating books to head start children in her area. She is predeceased by her son David and husband Fred. Survivors are her sister Helen DiStefano of Potomac, MD and brother Jonathan Stein of Albuquerque, New Mexico. No services are planned.
