San Tan Valley, Arizona - In Loving Memory of Christopher Ferguson

On November 25th, we lost our son, Christopher Ferguson, at the age of 36 due to an unexpected health issue. Chris was born and raised in Ahwatukee, where he grew into the thoughtful, kind, and generous man we are so proud of.

Chris attended Monte Vista Elementary, Altadena Middle School, and Desert Vista High School. A dedicated Scout, he became an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow with Troop 78—always ready to lead, to serve, and to lend a helping hand.

His curiosity and love of learning led him to earn an undergraduate degree in Archaeology, followed by a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Systems. In every endeavor, Chris brought enthusiasm, intelligence, and quiet determination.

Chris found the love of his life when he met Jessica, and they were married in 2019. Their greatest joy came in 2021 with the arrival of their daughter, Gemma, who promoted him to the role he cherished most: Daddy.

To honor Chris, and in keeping with the spirit of generosity he embodied, we have put up our Christmas lights once again—those singing and lighted trees and Santa's Naughty and Nice List displays that so many of you have told us are part of your holiday traditions. Seeing families gather and children laugh has always brought us joy, and we know Chris would have loved that.

We are endlessly proud of the man he became: kind, funny, devoted to his family, and always the first to offer help when it was needed.
