Chandler, AZ - Dorene Pool of Chandler, Arizona passed away on December 13th, 2023.

Dorene was born on January 24, 1960 to Fletcher and Joyce Pool of Grand Prairie, Texas. After her family moved to Denver, she began playing viola, and went on to get music degrees at the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Texas in Austin. She began her career teaching orchestra in McAllen, Texas, and later taught at Mesa School District in Arizona. She also performed with various orchestras, ensembles, and her church in Chandler. She spent much of her summer breaks visiting her parents in Ordway, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her brother Samuel Pool and sister-in-law Dorothy Pool of Garland, Texas; her brother James Pool of Lakewood, Colorado; and her sister Sylvia Norton, brother-in-law Edward Norton, nephew Eddie, and niece Meredith of Bothell, Washington.

Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27th, Valley View Cemetery, Ordway, CO.
