Chandler, Arizona - Georgia Nettie Parrish of Chandler, Arizona passed away on January 26th, 2020 at the age of 91.
Georgia was born in Tennessee March 9, 1928. She moved to Chicago as a young adult with her husband and two sons in the early 1950s and in 1991 she retired from Fiat Allis and moved to Arizona to join her 2 sons and grandchildren. Georgia loved Arizona and always said she was done with her travels because she felt as though she was living in a resort at her Chandler home and this was heaven.
She loved traditions, such as Christmas dinner, Christmas was her favorite holiday. She cooked southern style and has passed on her fried chicken recipe, white beans and banana pudding to her granddaughters.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen A Parrish, Sr, (wife Terry), Kerry G Parrish, (wife Bobbie), six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She will be missed.
