. - With the quiet elegance of a flower reaching the end of its bloom, Helen Virginia Rundle Wunderley, 89, an Arizona native, passed on October 15, 2024, with her family and American flag by her side. She left behind many seeds of love and wisdom that will continue to Grow.

Helen was born on September 17, 1935, to Virginia Hubell Baber and Laurence Sidney Rundle of Tempe, Arizona. She attended Payne Training School in Tempe and continued her education at ASU attending The College of Education, graduating with a master's degree. While attending ASU, Helen met her future husband, Ron. Helen's teaching career started in the Scottsdale School District then later moving to the Balsz School District where she taught many wonderful children. Helen's best day of teaching was when one of her students rode to school and straight into the classroom on his Big Wheel. Mrs. Wunderley greeted him with "Roar on in!" Helen and Ron spent the summers at their cabin in Pinetop, AZ. Her days were filled with decorating, entertaining, playing cards, reading books in her tree house, gardening, and lunching with many of her dear friends.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Ron; her parents, Virginia, and Laurence Rundle; and her brothers Larry "Buzz" and Joe "Hot Rod" Rundle. Helen is survived by her daughters, Lisa Virginia Wunderley-Krebs (Bob), Elizabeth Ann Navarro (Danny); her favorite little sister Margie Nash; and her only granddaughter, the "love of her life," Kaleigh Ann Navarro; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

To honor our mother's wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life.
