Jackey Richard Gray (Jack) Obituary

Apache Junction, Arizona - Jackey "Jack" Gray was born June 16, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and passed away on January 15, 2021, from the COVID-19 virus in Mesa, Arizona. He was a long-time resident of Apache Junction, Arizona.


Jack was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. He is survived by his son Ryan, his daughter Taina, his sister Cecelia, and his brother James. He will be missed by numerous family members, friends, and neighbors.


As a young man, Jack served in the Marines from 1969 to 1971. After serving his country, Jack started a lifelong career in helicopter mechanics and eventually retired from Boeing in June of 2014.


In his free time and in retirement, Jack enjoyed his adventures with his Jeep Club and traveling in his RV with family and friends.


Services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
