James McCann ((Jim))
January 14, 1939 - October 7, 2022
James (Jim) McCann, 83, of Chandler, Arizona entered into eternal peace on Friday October 7, 2022 with his children by his side. He was the son of the late Robert & Leah McCann. His final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends he loved so much.
Jim graduated high school in 1956. His education also included a BS degree in Economics. He entered the US Army and proudly served his country from 1957 - 1959. Over the years he had been employed as a Draftsman, Sales Engineer and was also part owner of Sinclair Electric in Seattle, WA.
Jim married Jean in 1983. With this union he was blessed with four step-children that he loved as his own. He was very proud of his big family. His hobbies included cooking, boating, woodworking and traveling.
Jim is survived by his four step-children and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister, brother, two nieces, a nephew and a very special friend, Christine (Chris).
In addition to his wife and parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Cheryl and niece Julie.
The family would like to thank Arizona Life Hospice in Gilbert, AZ, for their kind and compassionate care of our Pop while he was in his final weeks. Thank you for your dedication to your work and your patients.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
