Jane Katherine Haynes, 80, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Jane was born on July 8, 1944, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Frank Kusiak and Jane (Bremner) Kusiak. She graduated from Agawam High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in English. On April 6, 1965, she married her best friend and lifelong companion, Roger Haynes. Together, they built a loving home in Mesa, Arizona, where Jane devoted herself to raising their eight children and serving as a pillar of faith and strength within her community.
Jane's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her deep commitment to those around her. She is remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter London Solomon. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 60 years, Roger Haynes; her sister Martha Henderson; her brother John Kusiak; and her eight children: Aimee Manis, Heather Solomon, J. Noah Haynes, David Haynes, Nancy Higgins, Bridgett Ronan, Jennifer Johnson, and Robert Haynes. Jane's legacy also includes 40 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren (and counting), all of whom cherish the love and wisdom she shared throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1455 N. Harris Road, Mesa, AZ 85203.
