Phoenix, AZ - Due to an existing heart condition, Kathleen Ann Boyle Tarr passed peacefully in her sleep, a few days after turning 60.

Kathy attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help School and Cocopah School in Scottsdale, and graduated from Chaparral High School, then Allure School of Beauty in Scottsdale.

Kathy was a stay-at-home mom and raised 5 children in Peoria, along with her husband, Louie. Her children Collin, Caitlin, Christine, Courtney and Connor were the main focus of her life, at all times.

In later years, Kathy was a private-duty nurse, a vocation she was born to.

Kathy had a strong empathy for the homeless she encountered, particularly women and the mentally ill. Kathy took the time to listen to them, hand them a sandwich, or give them a couple of the dollars she had specially folded in her wallet for such occasions.

Kathy was a firm believer in rescue, loved all animals, and saved many a dog and cat from euthanasia. She enjoyed her toothless rescue poodle, Shaggy, her comforting cat, Newton, and took delight in the antics of her gentle-giant pit-bull Rex. She was thrilled when the Lovebirds she was trying to lure to her yard, finally roosted in her palm trees.

Kathy enjoyed her multiple visits exploring New York City, riding e-bikes in Flagstaff and Scottsdale with her sister Liz, her Irish heritage, 80's music, thrift-shopping, and planting her annual sunflowers. Her passion was high-end style and fashion; she never stepped out of the house unless fully accessorized.

Kathy fell asleep on earth, and woke up in heaven. She will live in our hearts forever.
