Keith Charles Hugus Obituary

Chandler, Arizona - Keith Charles Hugus from Chandler passed away on June 3, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Lee Hugus (Dale); his daughter, Rebecca Lynn Hugus; his son, Jeffrey Armstrong Hugus; and sisters, Janet Lapinsky and Judith McDermott. He had four grandchildren who were so incredibly special to him: Michelle, Nicole, Charlotte, and Robert.  Keith served as a reservist in the U.S. Marine Corps. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, to which he dedicated his career for over 40 years.  In his retirement, he continued to live in Chandler, Arizona and was an active member in the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and several musical ensembles, where he played trombone, tuba, and euphonium. The family will hold a celebration of life service in Arizona at some future date, and he will be officially laid to rest in Pennsylvania's Monongahela Cemetery. "May the sun shine warm upon your face and until we meet again may the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand."
