Apache Junction, Arizona - Larry Lee Veneklasen, 65, of Apache Junction AZ died October 8th 2020.
"Larry" son of Bud and Barb and loving husband of Denise Veneklasen, passed away peacefully at his home in Apache Junction after battling congestive heart failure.
Larry is survived by his wife Denise, sister Clara Jean, Nephew James Hawthorne and his wife Samantha Hawthorne and his great niece and nephew Ella Jean and Luke James from New Jersey. He is also survived by Mother-in-law, step brother, step nephew, step son and 4 step grandchildren living in the East Valley area.
Larry retired in 1996 as Sergeant of the Eatonville Police Department in Washington, then worked for Maricopa County Sheriffs Office and Pinkerton/Securitas Security.
In addition to being a loving family man, he found joy caring for numerous horses while boarding on his ranch at home.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. No services are scheduled. Ashes will be released in one of his favorite places on the Mogillon Rim in Northern AZ.
