Mesa, Arizona - Days after his wife, Linda, passed away Pierce died of what amounted to a broken heart. In life Pierce served God and Church as a member of the Quorum of the Seventy in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served his country as a United States Marine. A graduate of the Art Institute of Houston Texas, he was also a Jack of all trades and a Master of Art and Humanity. He is survived by his five children: Olivia Monica, Guillermo Harper, John Harper, Karen McElligott and Chris Harper, and many beloved grandchildren. He was known for his adventuresome spirit, whimsical sense of humor, and his gentle wisdom. He will be missed and loved always.
