Gilbert, Arizona - On Thursday, December 3, 2020, Robert W Timmons, 63, of Gilbert AZ, loving father, devoted grandfather, and caring brother passed away at his home. The lives of many will never be the same as the result of the death of Robert W. Timmons. "Rob" was a vibrant human being with a keen sense of humor and a compassionate and generous spirit. He was truly a "one of a kind" individual. He touched so many lives in so many ways which we will never fully know.

Rob was born March of 1957 in Cortland, NY to William and Marlana (Minckler) Timmons. Rob graduated in 1975 from Oneida High School in New York, where he succeeded not only academically, but athletically in both football and basketball. He created friendships he maintained through his life. He traveled West living in Montana for a short time and then moving to Phoenix in 1980's established roots and began his 32-year career with SprayFoam Southwest. Rob's role as a Senior VP of Business Development was only a small aspect of how he touched many lives. He had a quiet personal mission of assisting and developing people, serving as a mentor and advisor, or being involved in organizations such as the Jaycees. Rob especially enjoyed the game of golf which was his escape. One of his sayings was, "I don't like golf as much as I like the clothes." Rob cherished his family and enjoyed being a grandfather.

Rob was preceded in death by his father, William, and his mother, Marlana. Family members include his two sons: Justin Timmons of Gilbert AZ and Scott Timmons and his wife Mandy of Chandler AZ; five grandchildren, Jett, Presley, Emmery, Rio and Iyla; his brothers: Frank Timmons of Mesa AZ, Steve Timmons and his wife Denise of Marblehead MA, Matthew Timmons and his wife Michelle of Atlanta GA; a sister: Margaret "Peggy" Smith and her husband Kevin of Hampton NH; aunts, uncles, several nephews, nieces and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a future time.
