Apache Junction - Shawna Leilani Hinkston, 64, died on May 2, 2025.
She was born in Mesa, Arizona in 1960, to James William Haws and Leilani Packer Haws as their beloved firstborn child. Shawna was a hard worker and was employed in several fields including Cosmetology, Cosmetology for the deceased, Mesa Schools and City Bus Driver.
Shawna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edward Hinkston and her mother Leilani Haws. She is survived by her father James Haws, sister Stacey Gardner [Douglas], brother Quinn Haws [Oscar], brother Justin Haws, sister Shaylene Amos [Chad], and sister-in-law Lisa Haws. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled Saturday May 24, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 618 S. Signal Butte Rd, Mesa, AZ 85207. Services will begin at 9:30 AM after which Shawna will be interred at the Mesa Cemetery.
