Mesa - Thomas Ronald Hale, a retired general contractor and resident of Mesa, AZ, died on February 24th, 2025 at the age of 69 in Mesa, AZ as a result of an intense battle with pancreatic cancer.

Tom was born in Burbank, Ca on September 6, 1955 to Ronald Hale and Patricia Hale. He graduated from Cresenta Valley High School in 1973. Tom was drafted into the Army and was honorably discharged at the end of the Vietnam war. Tom entered the construction industry where he excelled at everything he did, including holding the top contractor licenses in both CA & AZ, and building a variety of projects including multiple high-rise buildings. Although Tom built projects nationwide, some of his favorite projects were right here in AZ. Tom was extremely well rounded in so many ways, always quick to solve some of the most interesting challenges with relationships, buildings, mechanics & politics. If you had a problem, Tom would happily help you solve it! Tom was a man of vision, determination, grit and an unwavering will to see things through to completion.

Tom was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, hero and friend. He had a warm heart always caring for others before himself. He was a man of honor and integrity! He was a sounding board to so many people and was a man of great intellect always embracing good conversation as an opportunity to help others understand some of the most difficult topics in life. Tom was profound in breaking things down to their simplest forms with a solid understanding of the relativity of everything which was helpful in communicating with people on all levels. Tom's legacy will continue to live on through those who knew him, especially those who knew him well.

Amongst the numerous things Tom knew how to do, playing hard and enjoying life to it's fullest was at the top of his list. Tom was very competitive and loved a good challenge. Tom had a solid understanding that although time is not our friend, each day is a gift not to be wasted. Tom was dealt some of life's most difficult challenges, yet he persevered through to accomplish his goals, and always managed to remember where he came from, while keeping things in perspective and making others around him better, often through laughter. Tom truly enjoyed helping others work through challenges with win-win solutions.

Tom was a Christian who believed in God, and that Jesus Christ died for his sins. Tom was at peace in his final hours, and despite his circumstances, still had the wherewithal to express concern for others asking to be sure he took care of everything, further exemplifying his character and love for others.

Tom was loved by many, and will be deeply missed by his fiance, family, friends and all who knew him. God speed Dad, we'll see you at the next stop.
